Upgrade Firmware while keeping baseband 01.10.04

i running at&t iphone 4 on 04.10.01 (sorry put wrong way around in title) have been using gevey sim have unlocked.

want confirm can red snow keep/preserve baseband while still upgrading latest 5 update?

if can show me way video or instructions

 

i've never seen baseband. o.o

that's lower initial release baseband on ios 4.0. must have real gem on hands!
