Any discount for iPads in bulk (roughly 1000)

my school district starting @ using ipads 1:1 , next year test year. looking @ 1000-1200 ipads first year , 4,000 more follow on year if works out.

got quote apple $479 per ipad when buying 1000, wondering if knew way larger discount when buying number.

if had 1000 refurbs nice @ $419 each.

 

microcenter sells them $450 sometimes.
