Lion server testing question

hi everyone,

ordered base mac mini last week , excitedly waiting it's arrival. in meantime wanting test out lion server, i've been using lion since release understand server stuff add-on of sorts.

question this, can create virtual machine of lion server on mbp later convert physical hard drive , put onto mini later?

use vmware fusion, used converter before know it's possible. i've never gone vm physical, other way around. there issues doing way coming macbook pro , copy mini. drivers mucked in process or should clean install onto mini (i'd prefer not use vm set how want)

 

yes, put lion server in vm.

wouldn't attempt going v p. in addition, if "testing" wouldn't want drop on machine planned use.

recommend getting documentation , going through setting lion server. real difference lion server apple has dumbed down server.app. there still lot of interesting things can under hood.
