hi everyone,
first post on forum wont manage upset anyone!
have had dell laptop 5 years paid under £500 for. has served me feel its on way out , thinking making significant upgrade macbook pro. id quite have cross on whereby can transfer old laptop new 1 dont lose everything!
firstly, having read few threads on here note people have said mbp has life expectancy of around 3 years. case considering cost , apple brand, compared laptop more half price , has far lasted 5 years! think if case instantly need rethink options dont idea of having spend on £1,000 every few years!
looking @ cheapest option, being 13 £999, paying add on upgrade hard drive 750 gig. using primary computer browsing, large amount of downloading , (finally) start learning art of photo manipulation , uploading , editing camcorder made films. used travelling watch number of films etc on there.
because current screen resolution 13 1280x800, compared 13 air 1440x900 or 15 pro, think thered big noticeable difference between 2 resolutions usage be? although air looks extremely nice its more expensive considering id sizeable hard drive , 256 gig air pretty double price of pro.
although dont use cd/dvd burner daily use burn films, create cds etc, think reason sway air.
ok having dual-core i5 requirements or there argument consider i7?
big question have id opinion on, know things in apple world hush hush until big release, if recommend went 13 pro now, or wait until whenever next 1 released? if laptop can hold out long! rumour of next release october/november 2012? im familiar wait until 2013, 2014, 2015 jokes way!!
reading thread year old now, interesting hear peoples opinions on mbp in 12-24 months time. jargon doesnt mean me, wonder how close , opinion knowing know! http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1105148
thank kind anticipated , advice.
