MacBook Pro & MacBook Air

so figured pose question here opinions people, event though mind pretty made up.

own '11 15" macbook pro, absolutely love computer, it's fast , i've never had trouble it. i'm college student , spend of day on hilly campus, lugging around 8+ hours isn't ideal since of heavy lifting computer comfort of own home.

wondering if own's both macbook pro & macbook air , how works out them. planning on picking air , using on campus note taking, email , simple web browsing while leaving pro docked @ home intention of using remote desktop campus when need be.
