How to get 1080P onto the Ipad?

has had luck getting 1080p onto ipad? background in tv production have many uncompressed 1080p commercials on mac. have tried compressing them every way can think of none of them sync. when use itunes convert 1080 spot, converts 720 let me put on ipad. missing something?

figured out. if shoot 1080p regular camera, have to:


1. open quicktime
2. save as, select 1080p
3. import itunes
4. sync ipad
