well torn... i'm desperately wanting new apple. have imac 20" 2006. problem feel logic board starting go out. locks once begin few tasks getting horizontal lines in display. considering fixing cost performance makes sense purchase updated system.
have had many pc laptops, however, seems end crashing or obtaining virus. seem have worst luck them. have been set on mbp longest time. until played @ apple store , size , weight have turned me off absolutely love portability on mba's ( looking @ 11).
have still had i5 quad core pc son uses (it's in room) games on. wife , using ipad 2 along our iphone 4's.
it's not dire new 1 more of want @ point. due potential refresh coming both mba , imac. want each year guess it's matter of deal being older model say. i'm extremely impressed ssd in mba obvious boost line up. if go imac go low end i5.
needs general use ie. web, email, photos, begin dabbling in photo/video editing. know either perfect choices guess 1 not big refresh... mba i'm looking @ mid grade 11".
thank in advance provides opinion or suggestion. know these redundant posts regulars see day in day out. have done large amount of lurking here , hatching info possibly can! once again ahead of time.
