iMac G4 won't upgrade past 10.4

hi got 1.25 imac g4,,
friend gave me copy of leopard on single layer dvd not boot installed 10.4 tiger.
tryed iso of leopard on desktop reboot never go further install. evertime computer starts shows grey screen there no hard drive boots.

 

1. leopard not come on single layer dvd, copy missing things.
2. don't provide information on how circumvent law, when pirating.
3. have been model specific dvd, not other mac, one, came with.
