Your "Tether" Experiences?

with news posted on macrumors, has tried new tether app works on non-jb'd phones through htlm5? worth $30/year? can att/verizon possibly stop it?

 

i downloaded morning. couldn't work @ first went lunch can , tried again , has since worked flawlessly. if legit 30 bucks year worth hotel i'm staying @ charges 9.95 per day wifi!
