How do I add my iPad to iTunes?

so, set new ipad on own , i've been playing since friday.

now, want sync music , videos ipad when take out of home (i use home sharing when home) reason ipad isn't showing in itunes.

when plug in ipad, itunes wants either setup new ipad or restore old backup.

why? thought set on own , should show in itunes when using same account. stupid thing. don't want wipe , start again. organising apps on ios pita.

ideas?

 

set new ipad.
it'll ask choose name ipad, , when press ok start syncing. won't delete anything, , can cancel initial sync.

you've got ipad in itunes, can fiddle settings , stuff would.
