How long until refurbs appear?

i'm considering buying new ipad. i'd save money if possible. i've had experiences apple's refurbished products , i'd go route again. how long typically take new ipads come apple's refurbished store?

it'll have month, maybe two. apple bit slow. in canada takes forever! can take full year sort of refurb appear.

nonetheless, united states should getting ipad 3 refurbs soon.
