Transferred files lose extension (Mac > Win)

hey everyone. @ job tasked past weekend migrating location's graphic files (mainly fonts, quark files, artwork, etc) mac server windows server.

upon setting raid on windows server began transfer process (about 550gb of data). unfortunately, quark files , fonts lost extension when transferring. on windows machine show basic "file" no known extension.

while pretty easy end users rename quark files , add extension, there 900,000 fonts different formats going have work well.

know of quick fix or method of transfer recommend using prevent happening? used terminal move root of folders/files 1 machine other on network.

 

missing extensions

able figure out how solve this?
