magic photo recovery Plugin?

hi everyone,

i've had imac since 2009 , have never had problems it, until now. running mac os x version 10.5.8. whenever try , open ms office, or download pictures digital camera, message says application has quit unexpectedly. click relaunch , opens. (this started happening , happens every time).

also, when on internet (safari) randomly web page close saying quit unexpectedly due .magicphotorecovery.tmp plugin error. have no idea , have searched google trying figure out. stuck thought ask if of guys know going on.

have ideas? thanks!
