"Save as pdf" oddity

using safari on intel macbook pro osx10.6.8 can access online banking hsbc hk no problem.

when viewing bank statements (that viewable in entirety within popup window) press command+p >> pdf >> save pdf download , save offline copy.

however, noticed last 3 mths of statements downloaded show part of statement, part on screen @ time saved (just screen cap), if means pdf save half of 1 page , half of next i.e. not printing 1 page out of 3.

prior 3 mths there not issue.

tried again , got same results, if tried print , not save pdf same issue. print preview shows "screen cap" not whole document.

assume has pop window , how relates safari print command. hsbc had no solution. ideas?

 

i tried using ff on same laptop , after clicking on same link ff opened pop window display statement opened window says "you have chosen open estatement.pdf should ff file? open (drop down menu relevant apps) / save file."
saved file. file whole statement. beautiful. why hard safari?
