iMessage Stuck at SENDING...SOMEONE PLEASE HELP PHONE IS USELESS


all imessages stuck on sending

person gets message on phone doesnt show sent either shows red exclamation mark or shows following on top of screen...(see attached pic)

can offer me phone has become useless?

if imessage isn't working, why don't turn off , send normal sms , see if goes through?

sure cost money, rather have "useless" phone or 1 functioning?
