nice easy question from a newbie

hi all

quick question, dumb i've searched everywhere , cant find difinitive answer hoping guys me out.

wife has iphone4 stuck in recovery mode. unfortunately due me changing laptops dont have on itunes..

question is...if click restore button in itunes restore phones original settings (and darn thing working again!) delete wifes pictures, music, contacts etc phone?

cant believe she's been told various people will.

i'm thinking stuff gone once it's reset there many here more intelligent me.
