1,000 Foot Range Home WiFi Network?

hi:

rent small old brick home (really old construction) 1,000 feet office work (also old brick building, office exterior). space between open; few trees & house or two, not urban skyscrapers, etc... house has cable modem service old linksys 'g' class wireless router, has served fine in-home networking.

of doubtless familiar own workplaces, when on our work computers, have click through opening screen warns of dire consequences if use work computers/internet service non work-related tasks. of co-workers anyway, i've relied on iphone 4's 3g connection private online activities without big brother monitoring every move.

can bring old 1'rst generation ipad home. it's wifi, of course, not 3g.

i'd know product/combo. of products would, without being ridiculously expensive (let's under $300?) or requiring technical know-how (preferably not harder hooking new wireless router computer), extend home's wireless broadband point ipad & iphone 4 in office access network general web surfing, e-mail, etc...

ubiquiti nanostation products mentioned elsewhere online, don't know cost, ease of use, mac-compatibility or whether it'd work.

recommend? (note: that's 1,000 linear feet between home & office; 1,000 square foot coverage area (33 feet x 30 feet, example) come close serving).

richard.

p.s.: in advance!

not going happen $300.
