Change file type icons with global command?

anyone have problem?

after latest (applied 02/03/2012) lion update files type .dvdmedia have changed white sheet of paper upper right corner curled.

have applecare , told me morning have manually change each file using info , copy , paste.

seems absurd, , told guy (nicely) that. had.

here have better method make global change icon associated type of file, in case .dvdmedia.

i have same problem , can't find better solution too.
started doing cut/paste on every file.
problem every new file still not correct icon.
