is there a way to disable to keyboard and mousepad to use external ones?

my mousepad screwed up... whenever drag gets selected , in order click have bash thing. guess cause drops of sweat fell on it.

keyboard next impossible use because of problem pad... impossible avoid transient contact wouldn't register if working causes lots of consternation...

i've tried plugging keyboard , mouse usb ports isn't working out. keyboard doesn't seem recognized @ all. , mouse... behaves strangely: can't clicking @ (sometimes can), can't drag mouse without selecting in path (sometimes can).

i'm unable use computer @ @ point.

please tell me there's way disable mousepad , keyboard! driving me nuts.

if external keyboard isn't recognized, last thing want disable internal one. wouldn't able communicate @ mac. first need make sure external working properly.
  • try different usb port.
  • inspect connectors , ports make sure they're clean , undamaged.
  • make sure connection secure.
  • try keyboard computer, make sure it's working properly.
