help needed please

have powermac dual 2ghz powerpc g5, memory 3.5 gb ddr2 sdram,
running leopard 10.5.8.
want upgrade graphics card `nvidia geforce 6600 le`

bought 1 off ebay nvidia geforce 7800gt 256mb pcie.
thought upgrade option model.
simple enough install when booted monitor screen shows box saying `no video input`

have bought wrong card, can card work in g5?

did mac version of video card? if did not why not working may able flash card pc make work mac.
