Is this a stupid idea?

to honest, i'm terrified late 2011 macbook pros last offer professional features, ability upgrade memory , hard drive, swap optical sad, etc.

think i've decided i'm going go ahead , purchase late 2011 15 inch 2.4 i7 4 gb of ram (to upgraded crucial) , 1gb discrete graphics, hi rez matte screen. current macbook pro makes graphic , video work tedious, , while know apple come out newer mbp's, rumors have been flying thinner , more macbook air like. may possibly mean loss of features described above. know love glossy screens, , 1 thing next macbook pro cannot have.

if worst fears confirmed, have refurbished late 2011 model, don't want do.

idea.. purchase late 2011 model specs listed above, , if apple surprises me , releases newer macbook pro doesn't give features want, can sell late 2011 model , still money it. if sold current macbook pro (2009) around $500 it, , should offset difference.

way, i'm prepared if apple goes down scary path , have computer need to. @ same time prepared in case apple surprises , it's macbook pro line.

i think it'll while before rid of macbook pro, if ever. there's nothing worry about.
