Swapping Unlimited SIM to Activate New SIM

so, got new sim at&t. it's lte one. sister has ipad 1 , has unlimited data account. have swapped at&t ipad 3 current vzw ipad 3. so, wondering if put new sim in ipad 1 , "activate" , take out put in new ipad , put sister's unlimited sim in ipad 1 without problems? still have account at&t, didn't choose delete , it's still active 30 days. or, can insert in new ipad , work after go view account , log in? , after, can take out , put vzw sim without problems?

of course assuming at&t sim works in vzw model, seems have been proven.
