wanted run buy here first.
i'm running lion on mbp. have external drive want install snow leopard on can test on mac.
i'm thinking i'm going have startup mbp external drive , hold down c run install snow leopard (making sure select external drive , not internal mbp drive!). after install, reboot , change startup drive internal.
that's i'd have do, right? making sure. thanks!
your steps seem pretty sound me. piece of advice this...
i've felt more comfortable holding option key instead of c key. because brings screen can decide drive / disc book to.
there else seems good. start install dvd, make sure external formatted mac os extended journaled (hsf+) , should install fine.
can reboot while holding option , select new drive.... , run updates need.
