How to upgrade to ios 5.0.1 with 5.1 available

iam having iphone 4, 5.0.0 ios. want upgrade 5.0.1 itunes showing error 3194 while upgrading/restoring.
tried changing host file ... non worked ..

plz 1 me....

 

why 5.0.1? 5.1 runs better.
