i noticed few days ago intuit/quicken has made available quicken 7 work on lion. if remember when lion came out support quicken ceased , not run on lion. quicken has made available quicken 7 run on mac lion (i have 10.7.3). if using quicken essentials can export quicken 7 , on way. cost program $15.00 , it's not upgrade it's full program has reported mac/life.

have been long time quicken user , quite frankly reason use parallels , window partition. needed use quicken , don't essentials. 1 minor problem software. works great except not download files bank. either onestep or regular download. continually give the error "quicken not connect server. please try again. ol-290."
have spoken quicken , email error logs them 4 days ago , far no resolution. have web page dedicated issue know of problem far no resolution. sure hope fixed. program better essentials.
plan give them week or , see if can fix problem. (i'm surprised released without testing it. holy smokes.)
if can't fix in reasonable amount of time going request refund. it's $15.00 program useless if can't connect , download transactions. if of have downloaded program , having same issue (i imagine will.) please contact quicken , raise cain. if can log files lots of folks them fix problem sooner.

quicken mac download bank files issue
went quicken mac 2007 last week (lion version), having tried couple of other programs. still qm 2007 best, reporting features.
used qm 2007 data file, few months out of date, , brought current. opened without hitch, , ability download transactions working fine. apparently issue not universal.
