i have label positioned in view has custom uibutton behind it. have selected 'hidden' button doesn't appear user. when label touched, button activates segue next view controller. works fine.
trying same technique uiimageview not proving fruitful.
have tried laying round rect button isn't hidden on top of image (partially covering image), segues successfully. choose 'hidden', button not touchable.
why work labels not uiimageview?
first, why using multiple controls when standard uibutton can show text and/or images?
