i've done complete fresh reinstall of lion, way installing sl disc , having running lion on mbp.
i've transferred of media external hd itunes without problems; movies, music, apps, etc.
iphoto, figured i'd ask here. have iphoto library on external can't imagine being simple dragging either iphoto itself, or sort of import option. needless say, i'm total novice when comes question genuinely appreciate advice heeded way.

i copy iphoto library external pictures folder on internal drive, , launch iphoto , make sure sees copied library. if have newer version of iphoto had before, convert library.
snag have ever run when did not have of iphoto updates loaded, , had older version of iphoto 1 on other computer. iphoto choked on newer format, until ran software update bring date.
same thing music folder also...
