Can't connect to Software Update or Mac App Store.

i can't connect mac app store or software update, , apple wants me call apple care. has else had problem before?

i've tried deleting .plist files suggested in other places, i'm having no luck. know it's happened since supplemental update/itunes 10.6 update because able connect fine before that.

thoughts or ideas on one?

 

this exact thing happening when upgraded 8gb ram; when came reinstalling or updating, petered out connecting servers.

once took out 8gb , replaced stock 4gb came machine, instantly worked again.
