System restore CD question

i got 700mhz emac, came without system restore cds. search on ebay shows sellers emac cds, though. they're selling both os 9 , os x together. package work me?

i believe emacs can boot in os 9... full retail copy of mac os 9, way through 10.4 (tiger) should work fine machine (hopefully optical drive works... otherwise use target disc mode install).

leopard can run on later gen emacs, starting usb 2.0 had available 1ghz processor.
