All Mac OS discs freeze at boot, but windows doesn't?

new user here.

mum broke imac, it's 24 inch aluminium 1 2008/2007 i'm pretty sure. sent in mac store repaired couldn't fix it, sent computer hdd outside of case.

opened computer , put hdd in, computer still freezing on booting apple spinning wheel symbol. tried few things resetting pram etc etc swapped ram slots , tried again. didn't work tried booting mac os x disc, still didn't work. proceeded insert windows 7 ultimate 32x disc. success, computer booted windows install disc , within 20 minutes had windows 7 running on imac.

imac has nvidia 8800 gpu , windows os wasn't recognising driver software it. such movies, explorer windows , games extremely choppy. researched , found out people installed windows via bootcamp or single os option oin same model imac have, have exact graphics card issues, inserting mac os snow leopard os disk , installing bootcamp software didn't fix problem. turned off computer in fiery rage.

around 10 minutes later, switched imac on, not remembering left snow leopard disc inside computer's disc drive. strangely enough booted sl cd , able wipe windows os , install snow leopard onto computer.

next day decided install boot camp windows 7 see if gpu problem had fixed if running in boot camp mode instead of using windows single os. problem had not fixed itself. turned off imac , tried boot snow leopard wipe boot camp partition. reason couldn't boot snow leopard. researched , tried many different ways find boot problems, none of them work. not boot snow leopard. proceeded boot windows 7 install disc , wipe hdd fresh start. tried boot snow leopard installation disc. did not work. decided take more drastic measures , inserted different hdd computer via sata connection. tried boot snow leopard disc. strangely, computer did not boot it. did same thing did other hdd, freezes during boot spinning wheel apple logo above , shows multi language grey screen says "you need restart computer hold down power button until turns off press power button again."

strange im sure not hdd error because mac os leopard installation cd didn't boot new hdd put in there.
have tried can, last resort.

i have same problem here... formatted macbook original xp disk , macbook wont boot os x disk, try usb snow leopard image , nothing... have resolve problem??
