i have cradlepoint phs300 router , works fine both 3g , 4g (hspa+). have 4g modem want upgrade 4g hspa+/lte modem on at&t network, momentum. unfortunately phs300 not support lte modem , supports hspa+ 4g. reason need upgrade new wireless router.
have spoken cradlepoint routers , have ctr35 among others problem none of current routers have battery. important me. use router when i'm traveling or either @ home or office when there's internet outage. during both of these situations there's time i'm either not near electrical outlet or there's power outage. reason battery important. can use 4g modem directly in macbook pro having router since instead of buying 4g ipad bought wifi wifi way of having internet on go.
after speaking cradlepoint informed me company, tekkeon, makes powerall may suit purposes. seems external power supply nice more bulky carrying around router internal battery.
know of other external power options may more compact?
of all, of company besides cradlepoint makes routers work usb modems have battery backup?
or there 4g lte modems work hotspots.
thank help.
