Dual HDD Set Up

just wanted know if out here has tried dual hdd set up? i'm thinking more in lines of 2 750gb seagate momentus xt's rather ssd+hdd. i'm curious know why chose dual hdd's instead of ssd+hdd. input help. thanks!

 

just crucial m4 512 gb have been eyeing.
