all people talk wanting quad core processor in next ipad/being disappointed isn't in one.
why? thought forum filled people smart in things having technology.
benefit quad core processor in ipad possibly provide? goes lightning fast, apps open instantly, , i've never had app slow down or anything.
ipad has no need quad core processor. quad core processor give performance increase in important geekbenchmark (so can brag friends, , guess you're people want redesign can know have new ipad). give marginal performance increases in every day use, if any.
quad core processors have been out years , yet software isn't coded take advantage of cores.
not realize (most) apps don't run in background? they're suspended. again no need multi-core processing.
heck people doing on ipad requires quad core processor? video editing on ipad, goes smooth.

well that's not really true, it's more case of lot of software not having gain many cores. what's point in skype being coded support 8 cores? photo editing, video editing, many games, decoding , yadayada programs make use of quad core frequently.
