Converted System Disk - iMac Now Won't Boot

i'm attempting friend in opinion royally effed both imac's os x partition , windows 7 boot camp partition.

i've gathered, following took place:
1. while in windows, shrunk windows 7 ntfs boot camp partition using disk management.
2. created new ntfs partition in unallocated space.
3. during creation of new ntfs partition, prompted convert disk dynamic disk - accepted change.
4. upon rebooting imac, discovered os x boot option missing (when holding alt key), , windows 7 partition bsod when booting (even in safe mode).

luckily, @ stage realized had totally messed imac, didn't go further , called me.

windows 7 installation disk, can see following partitions:
- disk 0 partition 1 (200mb - dynamic)
- disk 0 volume (465.7gb - dynamic - believe os x partition)
- disk 0 volume (619mb - dynamic)
- disk 0 partition 2 (windows hd - 435.8gb - system)
- disk 0 partition 3 (29.3gb - dynamic - believe partition created)

mac os x installation disk, can see following partitions:
- disk0s1
- disk0s2
- disk0s3
(partition types: windows_ldm)

tried booting imac in target disk mode , reading both windows , mac, unable see partitions system.

need convert disk current dynamic state original basic state, , 30gb partition removed off 1tb hard drive without losing data. cares data - understands may not able recover whole os, needs data (particularly os x partition).

how go doing this? minitool's partition wizard? hiren's boot cd? gparted? linux live cd? else?

guys - sorry long post!

got it. able efi boot imac ubuntu live usb drive, access windows + mac partitions , copy files external hd.
