synching 2 computers together.

just got air, have macbook that's been road warrior last 4 yrs. have time cap @ home synch book with. (improper grammar, know.) , wife's computer backed on time cap. haven't turned on air yet , doing research before fire up.

1.) possible synch new air time cap , macbook on air?

2.) if yes, usb quickest way download data since there no fire wire port on air?

, suggestions.

i in same boat. not know of way different computer recognize different computer's backup (but have not tried cause fresh starts).

if have wireless, can enable sharing , open 1 computer attached network drive on other computer , drag , drop usb or something.

if have large files copy bunch of them , let run on night. 5g network seemed little slower usb, both seemed slow when copying 100gb
