Apple TV using iphone WIFI?

am interested in getting apple tv want check before go , spend money on might not able need.

internet have in house pathetically poor, i'm talking pretty double dial internet speeds, , there no sign of changing anytime seeing live right @ limit of telephone exchange.

such have unlimited data plan on iphone , use personal hotspot function internet @ home. find more adequate , lets me play online on ps3 fine speed pretty good.

want know can use iphone wifi hotspot connect apple tv rather having use pretty poor wifi speeds on home broadband?

 

i'd expect work.
