Razer Synapse 2.0 Drivers causing high battery drain

is else seeing dramatically decreased battery life since upgrading synapse 2.0, while razer mouse isn't being used?

computer new 2.5 ghz i7 macbook pro radeon hd 6770m + intel 3000 hd, should on-the-fly switching between gpus depending on programs running. unfortunately, switching based on frameworks application uses, , rzupdater apparently calling frameworks doesn't need. have gfxcardstatus in menu bar, , since upgrading synapse 2.0 graphics card never switches integrated mode; it's not issue when i'm home, since keep laptop plugged in.. without dynamic switching battery life turns crap.

if sign out of synapse 2.0, rzupdater continues run release frameworks it's using, , os x start dynamic switching again. still, background updater using many resources constantly..

have luck removing synapse 2.0 , getting old drivers work again?

you can open activity monitor , see if rzupdater continuously eating percentage of cpu (even though idle). if not, check application eats cpu.

furthermore, if suspect rzupdater 1 causing battery draining problem, try uninstalling razer synapse 2.0 , try use laptop 1-2 days , see if got improvements in terms of battery life.
