Anyone who switched from Android: talk me through it.

i've been mac user since 2003 have family plan t-mobile, phone last year , half has been t-mobile g2 htc. i've been happy phone , android operating system, i'm dissatisfied signal , join fiance's verizon plan shortly.

question is, then, phone get? said, g2 has been fantastic , i've no complaints it. phone runs "clean" android, negligible bloatware , no interface changes; on verizon i'd need pay $299 nexus, versus $199 16gb iphone 4s (i don't need $299 32g). whatever android next step down , root it, i'm profoundly uninterested.

iphone is, then? i'd miss homescreen widgets; iphone interface sort of bores me. unbearably stupid, i'd miss indie/outsider cred of not having cool kids have. other i'm not sure what's holding me back.

i'd love hear has made switch android ios, if reasons doing unrelated dissatisfaction system. i've had no trouble android , hold on g2 longer if screen weren't broken.

i'm conflicted decision, comments appreciated. let's keep civil , invective-free: i'm not interested in battle death. need new phone.

i'm curious if 4s significant enough upgrade warrant not getting 4 $99 through verizon, , if it's idiotic move 4s when next upgrade may or may not come out later year.

i'm pro android use work provided 4s. jot down , see if iphone can stuff.

little things widgets , such. if aren't sure can let know.

i've noticed light/casual users make switch easy. same people uninterested phone tech want call , text light web browsing.

hardcore geek have more difficulty since ios bit locked up.
