Desktop's Icons are Aligned wrong?

so playing 1 of games , turned game on pop mode , noticed icons got moved way far off screen. this:
, when ever try highlighting things highlighted box appears few inches higher crusor is:

i'm not sure if key pressed i'm not sure pressed. did press command , enter game become pop mode. , won't let me click on icons.

i hate ask dumb question, have rebooted?
