Is it better to buy the iPhone 4S Out right or at Discounted Price with plan/contract

thinking of upgrading 4s.

have 30 dollars plan.

called telus (canadain carrier) , said if want keep @ price can buy phone out right, 32gb im interested in 749 plus taxes

fi wanted discounted price of, last checked 269 plus 35 dollar upgrade fee, need sign contract 3 years , add atleast data plan. cheapest 10 dollar 100mb. or upgrade entirely onto iphone plan, cheapest 50 dollars month, u more features , minutes.

ive had 3gs before , never needed data. school has wifi on campus plus @ home , dont need check facebook or on go. call , text has been fine me.

guys think better buy out right , keep low plan or upgrade , pay more month pay cheaper device

 

i signed 1gb data plan telus ... though don't use 3g data (mostly email) ... having in case need something.
