just upgraded original ipad new 1 yesterday. don't me wrong, loved old 1 when came browsing internet , things still preferred on mac. bit laggy taste , didn't seem practical. used e-textbooks , note taking in class. new one, because faster feel encouraged pick , use more often. didn't think dictation feature useful is, able dictate phrase instead of having type google search bar when i'm browsing web. it's ipad can computer can't without third party software. every new ipad release feel coming closer , closer replacing laptops basic uses. debating whether upgrade or not since didn't use old 1 often, don't regret upgrade because feels more functional.
i agree. used first ipad , used ipad 2 apps directv , nightstand , few games. things more fluid feel need keep ipad near , use more since there isn't clunky zooming because text unreadable.
