i did on computer morning preparing jailbreak. 1 of first apps installed intelliscreenx on verizon 4s, playing around , turned off data , signal jumped down , came up. did again , did same thing. few mins later says no signal, few resprings, restarts , nothing works. deleted intelliscreenx. restore , restore backup says 17 mins left , wanted see if have signal , there no way cancel restore backup decided i'd unplug phone. phone reboots , have signal! decided ok lets put stuff on. did restore , put apps on, no folders, no pictures, apps. restored, restore again, same thing. reinstalled apps, no app data or anything. did damage restore unplugging during restore? tried use iphone backup extractor , not seeing photos either....so long story, did loose pictures?
yes, lost everything. when plugged in nothing, itunes automatically makes when plug in (i'm sure you've seen "backing iphone" or "syncing iphone" though never told to, it's automatic) since there nothing on iphone, backed nothingness , overwrote backup.
recommend going app data/roaming/mobilesync/backup , making backup on desktop before restoring because itunes likes overwrite stuff. if lucky , itunes didn't overwrite it, may able choose backup itunes restore from.
