Certain apps won't tvout

i'm using tvout2 mirror tvout, works great except apps place restrictions on "tvout" ing... app i'm referring citytv app in canada. when hooked tv via component cables says due contractual agreements, app cannot display on monitor. there app can work around this? have iphone 4 5.0.1 jailbreak.
