Any way override a winterboard theme?

back on jailbroken 3gs, running theme plus it's "alt wallpaper," both worked great. re-downloaded them on jailbroken 4s, , theme seems overrun alternative wallpaper. when set "alt" image wallpaper in iphone settings, theme overruns again. there way around this?

get ifile cydia

go var/stash/themes

find theme, should see file called wallpaper.png or background.png

confirm wallpaper clicking on preview png

if delete or rename , respiring
