iPad 2 or iPad 3?

i plan on selling first generation ipad either ipad 2 or ipad 3.

not use cameras (that's 4s for), , a5 processor plenty fast me, wondering opinion based on needs.

retina display large improvement, i'm not sure if alone worth $100.

ipad 2 enough me? $100 less difference between paying $200 , $300 new ipad (after selling current one, 16gb wi-fi+3g on ebay approximately $200).

regardless of 1 go with, plan on buying base wi-fi 16gb model.

may want consider saving $100 before buying ipad. new ipad should way go.
