Core Audio / Core Midi - general question

i programmer knowledge of playing instruments, not midi , stuff.

make app (mac app) simple music notation. able play notes in app.

question how done. guess need attach sound bank/synthesizer of sorts controlled via core midi play notes?

talking simplest possible setup here.

 

to asking, have design , write audio units, using
core audio framework.
if check out developer documentation in xcode, or @ apple
developer web site, there guide on core audio frameworks.

aware, core audio frameworks of hardest
master, need knowledge of objective-c writing audio
unit interface , implementation, , knowledge of ansi c
communicating features of audio frameworks, , writing
complex math algorithms use in audio filters.
