how edited photos ios iphoto osx iphoto?

hoping there'd icloud stuff here made process easy... ie. i'm on holiday , -
1) import photos camera ipad camera kit
2) edit wanted photos on ios iphoto while traveling
3) home , have edited photos sync osx iphoto longterm storage.
