Twitter app shows one tweet at a time?

i thought read twitter app meant show 1 tweet @ time, meant set on desk whenever looked @ it, new tweet showing? not exist? , if not, can design it? wouldn't mind 1 ipad can have set , 1 of calendars has phrase everyday, live-updated tweet instead of goofy phrase.
