Resolved Restore widget using Time Machine?

so apparently deleted espn widget , emptied trash...doh!

how go restoring time machine?

late 2001 macbook pro running os x lion 10.7.3.

where did widget go?

ok...i found widget under macintosh hd/library/widgets , restored it, widget not show up.

has ever dealt disappearing widget?

tried deleting /users/username/library/preferences/com.apple.dashboard.plist , restarting espn widget still not there? hmmmm...


resolved: reason espn widget 0 bytes. restored earlier version in time machine , shows now.

weird.
