so i'm eagerly waiting arrival of new ipad. jumped on bandwagon once photoshop touch hit app store however, new iphoto ipad out, i'm wondering if 1 better other? i'd doing pretty basic photo editing on ipad resizing, hue/saturation changes, etc however, if more advanced features available, nice have. again, not heavy user means more of casual user.
taking consideration, photoshop touch me or iphoto have amazing features puts photoshop touch shame?
i use both.
in way, iphoto more aperature ipad adobe more photoshop. same kind of balance here.
use adobe more crazier effects, clipping art use in other images , smoothing them in, or mixing multiple images together. iphoto (like aperature on computer) 1 go in order photo image enhancements.
iphoto incredibly @ photo *touch ups*, balancing , stuff. it's faster @ doing them (from usability factor) photoshop , program use on computer. using brightening tool in iphoto is, far, quickest , user-friendly interface i've used. , that's comparing else, far. including computer software. also, due being new, iphoto has pretty nifty sharing options. you'll want if have multiple ios devices (like if use phone camera lot) since have no network or computer requirements needed beam photo libraries 1 device other.
oddly enough, iphoto wins interface. i've done around 30 photos alterations in album in iphoto faster i've ever pulled off in other software have. it's nice in how retains current work settings when bouncing between photos making fast utilize same effect (including ones manually apply finger). example. why mess zoom settings , brush size settings when iphoto allows pinch zoom automatically giving precision applying effect without having go through selection menus? time photoshop user done 1 change of zoom , brush change level of precision, i've applied , moved onto next picture.
$5, give go. has small learning curve, once understand brings effect selection, rest pretty intuitive. iphoto has smart interpretation of effects based on decided press , hold finger in picture, bringing information of you'll apply if drag finger in directions. if want color balancing, , touch work, iphoto better tool. if want wild combine photos and/or turning picture water painting, use photoshop touch.
in short. use photoshop more art tool or photo manipulation tool. paint brush ability work photos. has number of effects outside iphoto's realm of photo enhancement. while there number of photo manipulation effects in iphoto, photoshop has more of them. there interesting photoshop-only features. in particular "cloning" ability offset brush can view brush clone away finger is.
use iphoto photo-enhancement tool, it's more localized in application, does, professional-looking , better interface casual user done lot faster.
